Frequently Asked Questions

What is Addigy Security Suite, and how is it different from other MDM security add-ons?

Addigy Security Suite is an all-in-one, Apple-first security and compliance platform that integrates endpoint detection and threat remediation (powered by SentinelOne) directly into your Apple device management workflow. Unlike other MDMs, Addigy provides real-time visibility, automated compliance, and security features in a single dashboard, streamlining protection for IT teams of any size.

Can Addigy support my compliance, audit, or reporting needs for frameworks like SOC2, CIS, or NIST?

Yes. Addigy Security Suite includes automated compliance remediation, pre-built audit dashboards, and reporting that can be exported for common IT, SOC2, and industry audits.

What integrations are available with my current SIEM, ticketing, or identity platforms?

Addigy Security Suite integrates with popular SIEMs (like Lucidum), ticketing platforms (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Autotask, ConnectWise, Halo), and identity providers (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Google Workspace). These integrations let you automate security, reporting, alerts, and user authentication workflows for Apple devices within your existing IT stack – without switching tools or added complexity.

What types of threats does Addigy’s EDR/MDR detect and block in real time?

Addigy Security Suite leverages SentinelOne Singularity Complete with Vigilance MDR to deliver real-time protection against a broad range of cyber threats. This includes detection and blocking of malware, ransomware, zero-day threats, lateral movement, advanced persistent threats, and fileless attacks. The platform offers attack chain visibility and automated remediation, backed by 24/7 SOC support from expert analysts, ensuring continuous defense and rapid incident response for all devices – both macOS and Windows.

How does Addigy auto-remediate compliance drift, and can I customize these policies?

Addigy’s compliance engine continuously audits device status for benchmarks such as encryption, firewall, OS version, and custom rules. When a device falls out of compliance (“drift”), Addigy automatically applies remediation actions to restore its secure state, such as enabling encryption or applying the correct OS update.

IT admins can create, clone, and customize compliance policies, tailoring benchmarks and rules for specific departments, groups, or device types to meet organizational or regulatory requirements. Addigy’s interface streamlines management, audit reporting, and self-healing policy enforcement, addressing compliance across the entire Apple fleet.

What if I already use another EDR or MDR solution?

Addigy works with a range of security tools. Schedule an appointment with our team or your Account Manager to explore integration options and learn how you can maximize security and efficiency with Addigy Security Suite.

If I’m already using SentinelOne or another EDR, can I use it with Addigy?

Yes, if you already have SentinelOne you can deploy our agent and the management and configuration will occur within SentinelOne.

If you opt to migrate your licenses to Addigy, you can manage most SentinelOne features directly through Addigy to consolidate visibility, simplify billing, and reduce administrative overhead.

If you use another EDR/MDR solution, your Addigy Account Manager can help find the best configuration for your needs.

Does Addigy Security Suite support both macOS and Windows endpoints?

Absolutely. ALL SentinelOne enrolled devices (including Windows) are viewable through Addigy, when a device is clicked on to see a threat, if it is an Addigy enrolled Mac, it will give the option to go to GoLive or SentinelOne Console; if it is a Windows device it will open that device directly in the SentinelOne Console. Windows devices that are using SentinelOne EDR & MDR are billed at the same rate as macOS devices.

Do I need to contact SentinelOne support if there are issues?

Addigy provides primary support for your SentinelOne deployment, troubleshooting, and integration—while still allowing direct escalation to SentinelOne support if needed.
