Our expert course is two full days of instruction. This training is available remotely, and is appropriate for users that want to dig deeper into the Apple ecosystem and Apple device management using Addigy.

This 2-day tier-3 course builds on previous training certifications to help experienced admins design, automate, and secure Apple fleet management at scale. 

You’ll combine Apple MDM Framework with core Addigy capabilities—policies and Flex Policies, Smart Software & Conditions, device facts, monitoring, and Addigy Self Service—with scripting and the Addigy API to create end-to-end provisioning, compliance, and remediation workflows across macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS.

    (MSPs, ACNs, Enterprise IT Administrators)

  • Creating and using custom facts for advanced reporting and automation
  • Reading, editing, and deploying property list (plist) changes
  • Advanced scripting techniques, including loops and multi-user checks
  • Automating tasks and reporting through the Addigy API
  • Integrating multiple Addigy features into end-to-end workflows

Prerequisite

  • Completion of Addigy Certified Expert (ACE) is required before attending ACP.

Recommended Knowledge and Requirements

  • A personal Apple account
  • Strong experience with macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS device navigation and system preferences
  • Basic Bash and zShell scripting knowledge is strongly recommended

  • Using Addigy Variables for dynamic naming
  • Configuring and assigning Assist for onboarding

Lesson 2 – Enrollment, Users & Secure Token

  • Integrating ADE with Addigy Identity for first-login workflow
  • OS Users vs. Managed Admin accounts
  • Secure Token fundamentals, grant methods, and verification

Lesson 3 – Identity: Platform SSO & Addigy Identity

  • Comparing identity workflows and login experiences
  • Configuring Platform SSO with Microsoft Company Portal
  • Reviewing Identity Device Facts for compliance

Lesson 4 – User Notifications with MacManage

  • Creating branded, actionable notifications
  • Chaining notifications with Smart Software or Monitoring & Remediation

Lesson 5 – Security Baselines

  • Enforcing FileVault, Firewall, and Gatekeeper via MDM
  • Escrow Buddy integration for FileVault key escrow
  • Custom facts and monitoring for antivirus presence


Lesson 6 – Compliance Engine

  • Creating compliance rules and benchmarks
  • Integrating Conditional Access
  • Assigning and validating remediation actions

Lesson 8 – Property Lists (Plists)

  • Reading and editing plist files in system and user contexts
  • Managing file ownership and permissions
  • Deploying plist changes via Addigy

Lesson 9 – Advanced Scripting with Addigy

  • For, While, and Until loops for administrative checks
  • Iterating through users for Secure Token and admin status reporting

Lesson 10 – Automating Remediation

  • Dock location enforcement with notifications
  • Guest account control and remediation
  • TempAdmin deployment in Self Service

Lesson 11 – API Fundamentals

  • REST, JSON, and Addigy’s API structure
  • Using Swagger and curl for API queries
  • Authentication and endpoint navigation

Lesson 12 – API Workflows

  • Common device management automations (restart, MDM reinstall, Bluetooth disable)
  • Reporting and data export workflows
  • Integrating API scripts into Addigy automation

Final Lab & Review

  • Build an end-to-end automated onboarding and compliance workflow
  • Q&A and certification exam preparation
