Press Release | Addigy Expands Customer Base, Grows Team, and Achieves Significant Accolades in H1 2022
MIAMI — July 20, 2022 — Addigy, the only cloud-based, multi-tenant Apple device management software that makes it easy for managed service providers (MSPs) and corporate IT teams to monitor and manage Mac, iPad, and iPhone devices from a single location, has witnessed significant growth in several areas in H1 2022.
“There are many reasons why we continue to thrive as a company,” said Jason Dettbarn, founder and CEO of Addigy. “At the top of the list is our team and culture. Our people are committed to delivering a best-in-class product and industry-leading white-glove support to our customers, and our culture enables our team members to accomplish just that. No one takes care of their customers like Addigy.”
Addigy’s reputation for delivering the best Apple experience is growing. Addigy increased its customer base by nine percent during H1 2022. Logo churn has remained at an industry-leading 1.0 percent. Additionally, existing customers are expanding their use of the platform at an annual rate of 27 percent, which is faster than pre-pandemic levels.
“Apple’s own MDM doesn’t go far enough for MSPs and in-house IT to tackle the security and management of Macs in the workspace,” said Travis Woods, CEO of Fort Point IT Solutions. “We continue to see Apple devices growing more and more popular with companies for their security. Addigy has made their management easier.”
It’s not a surprise that Addigy’s numbers continue to rise. The use of Macs within the workplace has significantly increased in recent years. For instance, according to IDC, macOS devices now account for 23 percent of laptop devices in the workplace, up from nearly 20 percent just two years ago. In the same report, IDC also revealed that iPhones now account for 49 percent of the smartphones used in office environments and that iPads continue to dominate the tablet market for business.
Only halfway through the year, Addigy has already achieved a great deal, including new product features, significant team growth, and made great strides with the MSP community. Below are some notable accomplishments.
Addigy continues to innovate for its customers
Talking with customers and understanding the business problems they are trying to solve, Addigy’s research and design (R&D) team is constantly working to improve the Addigy platform and enhance its features. In H1 2022, Addigy rolled out several new features to its Apple device management platform, including Flex Policies, which automatically groups and manages devices based on unique filters, saving admins time and increasing their productivity; Priority Deployments, which enables IT admins to hold a device in a pre-enrollment state until specific software and necessary MDM profiles are installed on the device; and an improved user interface (UI), which makes Addigy even more intuitive and easy to use.
More product enhancements are slated for H2 2022. Addigy will have support for all the new features coming from Apple this fall along with some very exciting device compliance support.
Addigy’s commitment to the MSP community
Addigy doesn’t just sell to MSPs; it partners with the entire MSP community in several ways. The company immerses itself within the MSP community by holding events and attending industry-leading conferences. In February 2022, Addigy Innovate, the company’s annual event for MSPs and corporate IT teams, had more than 1,000 registrants, with more than 50 percent attending the event’s sessions. Also, Addigy’s team has attended and supported more than a dozen industry conferences in 2022 and plans to attend another 16 by the end of the year. To keep MSPs up to date with the latest technology and best practices, Addigy’s top executives and advisors, including Ralph Echemendia (known to the cybersecurity industry as “The Ethical Hacker”), have held numerous webinars about Apple device management, cybersecurity, and other trending topics. MSPs can count on Addigy for security, scalability and Apple expertise.
The Addigy team continues grow and thrive
Recognized as an Inc. Best Workplaces again in 2022, Addigy continues to grow and expand its team throughout the U.S. Focused on the values of humble, hungry, and smart, Addigy’s culture attracts and retains a team of diverse thinkers from diverse backgrounds. Much of the tech talent is drawn from Florida International University, with 48 percent of the team under 34 years old and 57 percent of the team self-identifying as Hispanic, Latino, or African American. Women also thrive in Addigy’s environment, representing nearly 38 percent of Addigy’s leadership team and 35 percent of the company’s engineering team. Each year, a small cohort of college graduates are invited to participate in a rigorous internship program. The 90-day experience provides a foundation of knowledge and certifications beginning with Addigy Basics, and concluding with ACE certification (Addigy Certified Expert). The most successful interns are offered full-time positions in support, quality assurance (QA), or customer success, and continue to grow their careers. Former interns represent 18 percent of the team.
