How is Iru different from Kandji?
Iru is the rebranded Kandji as of October 22, 2025. Beyond the name, Iru expanded the product into Windows and Android device management and repositioned as an AI security platform with six separately-licensed products. The Apple management foundation is the same Kandji you knew, but the company’s focus is now split across multiple operating systems.
Does Iru support multi-tenant management for MSPs?
While Iru launched a dedicated effort to accommodate MSPs in 2026, Addigy has been an MSP partner since 2013. Iru is built for direct mid-market sales, not for MSPs managing multiple client tenants. Addigy is purpose-built for both MSPs and any IT teams with native multi-tenant architecture. That means admins can manage every client from one console, switch tenants without logging in and out, and apply per-tenant policies without workarounds.
Is identity management included with Iru?
No. Iru’s Workforce Identity (formerly Kandji Passport) is sold as a separate product. Addigy includes unlimited IdP integrations with Okta and Microsoft Entra as part of the core product. No additional license, no upcharge.
What's the difference between Addigy MDM, Amplify, and Security Suite?
Addigy offers three products. Addigy MDM is the full Apple device management platform that includes enrollment, policy, software, updates, live agent. Amplify keeps a customer’s existing MDM (Jamf, Intune, Kandji, Mosyle) in place and overlays Addigy’s real-time visibility, live remote tools, and monitoring on top, which is useful for teams not ready to switch MDMs. Security Suite layers EDR and 24/7 MDR (powered by SentinelOne), plus compliance, on top of our MDM product.
